At the heart of Kirei is our mango wood collection, hand-carved by skilled artisans in India using techniques passed down through generations. Each tree bears fruit for fifteen to twenty years, and it's only once that fruiting life is finished that it's harvested, so every piece carries a story of patience as much as craftsmanship, sustainably sourced, slow grown and given a second life.

Some of our favourite pieces take that same mango wood and hand-paint it, using traditional Indian designs, colours and techniques passed down by the same artisan communities. It's a different way of telling the same story, colour and pattern in place of carved detail, and we believe it's some of the most distinctive furniture of its kind available in the UK.

We've also recently introduced a small collection of lacquered pine and elm furniture, a different material entirely, designed in-house and finished by hand in soft, considered colour, the newest addition to the range.

Alongside our furniture, we source distinctive accessories such as block-printed rugs, hand-painted metal lamps and jars, glassware and mango wood bowls and lamps, each selected to complement your home with subtle elegance and artisanal charm.
